Maxwell! I almost didn't recognize you with that beard. You look so grown-up. It's wonderful to have you with us again. You were certainly missed.
The campus is always so beautiful when it's covered in snow, though it's a shame the days have to get shorter. It's dark so early now. I hope everyone is staying warm and healthy. Are there any residents without sufficient winter clothes? It must be the first winter for at least some of you. Perhaps a shopping trip is in order if enough people are lacking in warm clothing or snow boots.
There's still so much to do before the break. Is anyone interested in helping me decorate the dorms for the winter holidays? I plan to travel home to Hyrule for a short time, but seeing as we don't celebrate Christmas, I'll be sure to return here by then. In the meantime, please remember my open door policy! As your Resident Assistant, I'm here to help, so don't hesitate to seek me out for anything you might need, even if it's just to chat.
[OOC: Office log! Feel free to swing by Zelda's room/the common room any time between now and the start of winter break on December 14th. She's pretty much up with the sun and out and about most of the day, but she returns to her room in the late afternoon/early evening when Vashta wakes up. For the purposes of this log, she'll be around the dorms (common room cutting out paper snowflakes and untangling lights, kitchen baking a million cookies, outside shoveling snow from the walkways, anywhere around the dorm complex, location is up to you) from about 9 AM to 6 or 7 PM and in her room until 10 or 11 PM, when she goes to sleep. This entry can be responded to like any normal journal, but if you opt for the office log route, please use paragraph format, and fill out this template!]

Not an office log post
Ah, I was planning on going shopping with Knuckles for winter clothing, but that sounds like a lovelier idea~ Perhaps we can both join you if such a thing happens. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I can buy everything for myself, though. *lol on a tight budget because of a decent lack of cash*

Time: Around 12 I guess.
Location: Common room.
Eavesdropping?: I guess?
Winter wasn't Amy's favorite season - far from it. It was cold, wet and there weren't always a lot of things unless there was a lot of snow. Instead, she preferred to stay indoors on boring days like these. At least in ten days she could leave to visit her parents for Christmas. In the meantime, it was just a matter of passing time.

I hope things have not been too unmanageable in my absence? I'll admit I was surprised to see my position was still available when I returned.
((Whit. Whit how do you feel about hanging up Christmas decorations.))

Oh, no, of course not. Though I can't deny it will be nice to have some help.

Time: 3pm
Location: The kitchens, with one million cookies.
Eavesdropping?: Sure, it's a hallway
If Zelda's room, can Vashie be a creeper?: NO.
Apple Kid was so very hungry. Oh so very hungry. It'd been hours, or even minutes since his last meal! So he was going to go to the kitchen to see if he could get something to nibble on before dinner. Oh, so very hungry.
He wandered into the cafeteria, but there was nothing set out. Not even a hamburger in the trashcans (he looked). So he wandered into the kitchen area and, lo and behold, was surprised when he saw somebody who wasn't a bear. "Hello," he said.

So she was going to make her cookies as if nothing was wrong. "Hello." She said, smiling. "Here for the cookies?"

Because she was just so good and thoughtful like that.

Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Outside
Eavesdropping?: nope
Yeah, it was cold, and this particular sniper wasn't very fond of the cold. He'd prefer to be somewhere far warmer, like in front of a fire place or wrapped up in his bed. That wasn't to say that he disliked snow, though. When it was convenient, he did. Right now, he didn't mind it.
That could explain why he decided to throw on a dark jacket and head outside for a walk in the white darkness. Only minutes after he left the building did he come across the princess of Hyrule, but it didn't surprise him to see her. Lots of people were prone to taking meaningless walks simply because little globes of frozen rain water were falling from the sky. Still, here the two of them were, and why not greet her?
"Hey," he began, raising an arm casually, "you keeping yourself warm out here?"

The princess didn't expect to have someone join her, but Shinon certainly wasn't objectionable company. She smiled and waved back. "I could ask the same of you."

Recently, whenever the archer had caught the other, she was always hard at work, decorating and baking and all of those other domestic chores that women do. (Only he didn't catch her shoveling snow, so.) "You been busy recently? I see you from time to time."

"Especially around the holidays. Some of the students don't go home, so I take it upon myself to bring home to them. What about you? How have you been?"
