ninjaprincess: (Sheik- Oh right I'm also a ninja)

15 [VIDEO/ACTION]

[Man, this school is both dumb and stressful. First everyone was animals, and now, with Midna's departure, there is a severe lack of sexy. And when things get stressful round these parts, there's always a little less Zelda and a little more Sheik. It's just how this princess rolls.

There is a video post on the network, one without a network username attached. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? Wizards, probably. Some of you might recognize the mysterious masked ninja boy on the feed, some might not. Either way, mysterious masked ninja boy does not take the time to introduce himself, and only stares at the camera with varying degrees of disdain.]

I must say I'm surprised that no students or faculty have expressed interest in finding the culprit for the recent string of transformations. Usually such events cause an uproar among those of you that demand explanations.

Nevertheless, such irresponsible use of magic necessitates investigation. I will take it upon myself to hold a night patrol, in the event that history repeats itself, as it often does.

Security guards, perhaps I will cross paths with you. I doubt you will deny extra help.

[And there goes the video. HOW MYSTERIOUS.

NIGHT PATROL. Respond via journal network! Run around at night! Cause grief and/or mischief! The choice is yours!]

RUN AROUND AT NIGHT, YOU SAY

[On any given night Mysterious Masked Ninja Boy is patrolling the streets, there may be a Mysterious Masked Man patrolling the streets, too. Totally Not Meta Knight. It's totally not Meta Knight. See his face is covered you totally can't see who he is.

MYSTERIES UPON MYSTERIES.]

You will figure out who is responsible, then. I was sure someone would do that eventually.

I know it wasn't in the food, though, Sheik. I tried it all.

[NIGHT HIJINX]

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Image Oh, great. The last thing Blacky needed was even more of a nightlife around the school. Especially since a certain fairy-turned-coyote turned her on to an interesting new hobby: digging in the trash. Not for food (but sometimes she found entire hamburgers in there for reasons she couldn't even fathom), but for information.

It was a disgusting, filthy habit, but there was something satisfying in finding a crumpled unsent love note or empty beer bottles in the student dorms. STILL GROSS THOUGH. She would have to be super stealthy if she didn't want to get caught by this new night patrolman.

...It was hard to be stealthy when you glowed in the dark, though.

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
[Sheik is no stranger to SHARING THE NIGHT. She is just a bit put off by the appearance of a Mysterious Masked Man.

So of course Sheik is totally stalking him.]

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
I hope to. The magical nature of the event narrows down the potential culprits quite significantly. Even if I don't find who was responsible, perhaps my patrol will dissuade others from attempting similar stunts.

That's good to know. Thank you.

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
Of course Sheik was attentive to glowing things, especially when they were rummaging around in trash cans.

Rooting through garbage was, by nature, not a silent task, so soon enough, Blacky had company. Perhaps she'd take notice of it.

::There is a black and white video of Apple Kid. He's sitting down and looking very intently at the camera::

::It started 10 minutes ago. It's still going.::

::He hasn't said anything yet.::

[TWO CAN PLAY AT THIS GAME.

Except Sheik is a bit impatient and has better things to do.]

...Hello.

[identity profile] solarock.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
I never thought of it that way. That's certainly a good point. If we act more aware of these sorts of things, less people will be provoked into thinking they can get away with it. I see...

[identity profile] notstevejobs.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
::Oh look there we are::

Hello. I'd like to arrange a visit, if possible, between you and myself.

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
That's my hope. It's frustrating to think that those with magical talent would use the abilities so frivolously.

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh no. Oh no.]

Why?

I need an "L" icon for this

[identity profile] notstevejobs.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
I'd like to alter the probability of one of my theories from 99.6% to at least 99.9% certainty, and to do that I need to meet with you.

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure it's necessary for you to pursue these far-fetched theories.

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
Image She did take notice, eventually; an odd smell not coming from the garbage caught her attention. She pulled her head out of the can and stared right at Shiek.

Damn it. So much for her reputation. But just who was this mysterious masked stranger, anyway? Blacky was certain she'd seen them sneaking around at night once or twice before... hadn't she?

She dropped down to all fours and decided to PLAY IT COOL.

*Cyrus stares at the video for a moment before typing his reply*

It is difficult for me to believe that my initial query has gone utterly forgotten. As I understand, in my absence, there was no attempt made. However, that I had inquired remains a fact.

[identity profile] swordonfire.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
[Mysterious Masked Man is kind of rescuing stolen purses and cats from trees and those kinds of generic good-guy things. What a weirdo.

It didn't take him long to figure out he was being followed. AND SO. He addresses a likely hiding spot Sheik is probably nowhere near.]

Yes...?

[identity profile] notstevejobs.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
There's nothing far-fetched about it. My inventions always work as intended.

[identity profile] geometricmagic.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
[Kamek said nothing to the video. He himself would be hunting down the culprit of said transformations if the he weren't the one responsible for it. Well, perhaps he shouldn't take all the credit. But Kamek wasn't a tattle tell. And the lack of investigation made the whole establishment look like a complete pushover. Just imagine everything else he could do without consequence. The thought was bemusing.

This was one of those generic nights where Kamek couldn't find sleep. So instead of waiting around for it, he took a nightly stroll outside the school, partly to walk the insomnia off, partly to use this spare time to look for Wendy, even if finding her at this hour was slim. Wherever she was, she did an excellent job at disguising herself. Kamek would have been proud if she hadn't just disappeared on him without warning.]

[identity profile] badasscopters.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 02:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[Goose didn't really reply to the video, but acknowledged the idea of any extra aid. At first, he admittedly did feel a bit strange over the proposition of someone else on patrol (in a manner of 'hey but isn't that mine and Rouge's jobs'), but once he and his co-worker got a mention, that thought was shoved away. He'd deal with that.

But yes, he, too, was patrolling the halls, the outside of the school, pretty much everywhere ever at... any night that isn't cafe night. He made sure to keep a look-out for any ~mysterious night patrollers~ like this one. He'd be interested in seeing this... dude? Yeah, it was undeniably a dude. lol

I looked for the bad guy! I couldn't find him anywhere!

And it wasn't me!

[Now the Mysterious Masked Man was talking to a tree. Well, okay, he probably thought Sheik was behind the tree. But she wasn't. She was in the tree, and now she was jumping down to address him directly.

Who is this caped crusader.]

...Hello.

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-08-01 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Well, as far as she knew, Pokemon did not have the capacity to turn other people to Pokemon. Digging in trash wasn't really a very condemnable thing, even if it was kind of gross. Sheik deemed the Umbreon as just...doing what Umbreons did, she guessed.

"My apologizes." She said, intending to leave the Pokemon to her business.

[Several minutes later, there is a ninja outside your window.

The ninja does not look too happy.]
